Phaser The Phaser is based on the famous 4-stage Script 90 circuit known for its classic phase tone. The Script design is updated with the finest components, providing clean distortion free phasing with low noise and tonal transparency. The updates also include the addition of depth and level controls to add further versatility to the original design. For even smooth phasing, the JFETs used in the circuit are sorted by hand and matched for the best possible phase experience. A weak battery can alter the output of the Phaser. The unit works best when using a 9v dc adapter to provide a consistent power source. Along with the Rate, the Retro-Sonic PHASER has a Depth control which allows you to dial in the intensity of the effect, as well as a level control to match unity gain, or even provide a little boost if desired. All pedals will have a matched set of FETs for the best possible phasing experience, and of course True Bypass is standard. Speed: Controls the rate of the phase effect 2. Depth: Controls the intensity of the phase effect 3. Level: Controls the output level of the effected tone. Typically output levels of both normal and effect are adjusted to equal levels 4. Normal/Effect Switch: Stepping on the switch turns the effect on and off 5. LED Indicator: The LED lights on when the effect is on and lights off when the effect is bypassed. 6. Input: Input jack to connect the output of the guitar or other effect pedal. 7. Output: Output jack to connect to the input of amplifier or other effect pedal 8. DC: Jack to connect an AC adapter. PLEASE NOTE!!!! This unit operates with a 9v negative pin adapter only! Use of other adapters will result in damage to the unit.
